Jon Courtney Bowen, age 37, passed away September 7, 2021 at Utah Valley Hospital of complications from a blood clot. He was born August 6, 1984 in Orem, Utah to Jon Eric Bowen and Carol Shepherd.

Jon met Candace Grange in October of 2002 while working at the Haunted Forest in American Fork. Jon and Candace were married September 8, 2007. Nine months after the wedding, Jon took a job down in Price. There they moved and stayed for 11 years where three out of their four gorgeous children were born.

Jon took up a job as a police officer for the Price City Police Department where he worked to better the world for the better part of eight years. After his time serving the force, he took up the role of being a stay-at-home dad. Jon loved being home and teaching his kids how to cook. Jon loved to go camping and fishing, but above all else, he loved being with his children and wife.

Jon is survived by his wife Candace; children, Josilyn Alexandra Lee Bowen, Brooklyn Dakota Lee Bowen, Jon Kaiden Asher Bowen, Jon Ryker Morgan Bowen, all of Springville; mother, Carol Shepherd of Price; brother, Cody Scott of New York; sister, Brandee Bonner of Texas; and the Original Crew, Devin Youmans, Greg Harding, and James Coleman.

He is preceded in death by his father, Jon Eric Bowen; his mother-in-law, Claudia Grange; and all of his grandparents.

Funeral service, Thursday, September 16, 2021, 11:00 a.m., Cleveland Ward Chapel, where the family will receive friends beginning at 9:30 a.m. Interment, Cleveland Town Cemetery.
