
Neal Scovill, age 81, passed away peacefully on September 27, 2021 after a long battle with Parkinson’s Disease.
He was born in Orangeville, Utah on October 31, 1939 to Amasa G. and Dora Marie Jensen Scovill.
Neal was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. He was a man of great integrity. He always knew when someone needed help, he would be there.
Neal was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many church callings. He married the love of his life, Diana, on April 25, 1964. They were blessed with three beautiful children; one daughter and two sons.
He served in the US Navy in 1958. Neal loved the work he did running heavy equipment and especially enjoyed working for Nielsen Construction where he made many friends.
Neal is survived by his wife, Diana; daughter, Layna; brother, LaDue; sisters, Dorine Geraldine, and Judy Rae; grandchildren, Misty, Josh (Tausha), Misha (Derek), and Kylie (Preston); and 10 great-grandchildren.
Neal is preceded in death by parents, Amasa and Dora; sons, Matthew and Don; brother, Easton; and sister, Josephine.
Graveside service, Friday, October 1, 2021, 12:00 noon, Huntington City Cemetery.
