
Kirk Lee Oviatt, age 58, passed away at his home in Price on October 22, 2021.
He was born June 18, 1963 in Murray, Utah, a proud son of Frank and Marie Oveson Oviatt.
Though he was dealt many obstacles in his life, Kirk achieved much and was loved by so many. He was a very giving person and would give all of his nieces and nephews Christmas and birthday gifts. Kirk enjoyed reading books and collecting model cars and airplanes.
Kirk was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He achieved the rank of Eagle Scout and was proud of that moment. Kirk also worked at Walmart for 20 years. Next to his family, John Wayne was right up there as a member of his family. He was the Duke’s greatest fan. He will be missed greatly by his family and a community of friends.
He is survived by his mother, Marie; siblings, Earl (Sandy) Oviatt, Sheldon (Gloria) Oviatt, Shirley (Von) Bell, Larry (Julie) Oviatt; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his father, Frank.
Funeral service, Friday, October 29, 2021, 11:00 a.m., Mitchell Funeral Home (233 East Main Street, Price, Utah) where the family will receive friends an hour prior to the service. Interment, Cleveland Town Cemetery.
