The True Blue Day event will take place on October 29 at 10:00 am till 3:00 pm, this is a perfect opportunity for potential students to live a day as a USU Eastern college student. “Every year the USU Eastern Admission team they do a great job with the ambassadors. Krista Hepworth and Kevin West, put together, a kind of a Friday thing, where you get a sneak peek and glance at what it’s like to be at USU Eastern as a student and it’s really cool because they do a themed day. This time the theme is kind of a Halloween thing because it is two days before Halloween but there is a great opportunity to meet professors at this, there’s tour of campus, you get free lunch, and you get to eat Aggie Ice Cream,” said Miller. All high school juniors and seniors are invited to this event for the day and can get signed up by calling Enrollment Services at (435) 613-5248.

There will be an Open House scheduled for November 8 for any potential students and parents and non-traditional students. “The November 8 Open House is at 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, so you don’t have to take off work, you don’t have to worry about things because they’ll be there from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Another thing that they are going to do at the Open House is they are going to have people there to talk about housing, and also talk about dining, talk about scholarships, and financial aid,” stated Miller. There will also be professors and department heads to answer any questions you may have about specific programs. This open house is an opportunity to get all those questions answered so that you can begin your education at USU Eastern. One of the perks of attending the Open House is that you can get your $50.00 admissions fee waived.
