Our loving son, brothers, uncle and friend to many, Mikel Jay Kulow, age 53, passed away suddenly at his home on November 2, 2021.

He was born in Price, Utah on September 21, 1968 to Larry Jay and Janice Ann Barker Kulow. His father Larry preceded him in death in 2012. Mikel was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Mikel loved and was good at many things, but he loved golf the most. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and collecting coins. He was a wiz with a computer and loved having a gaming controller in his hands, playing the video games he so loved.

He worked in the coal industry, most recently as a manager for Standard Labs in Huntington. He will be missed deeply by his friends at work. Mikel was always happy and smiling. He loved giving everyone a hard time and joking around.

Mikel is survived by his mother, Janice Kulow, Price, Utah; siblings, Cory (Tawnya) Kulow, Price, Utah, Casey (Bobbie) Kulow, Helper, Utah; and many nieces and nephews and a grand niece and nephews.

Preceded in death by his father, Larry; and grandparents on both sides.
