
Its time once again to sit down with Mayor Danny VanWagoner to catch up on what is taking place in Castle Dale City. He was eager to talk about the Castle Dale Christmas Party and upcoming Ice Fishing Tournament.
Castle Dale City is gearing up for their annual Christmas Party on Tuesday, December 14 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Recreation Center. “We’re going to have a competition, where you visit local businesses and you’ll get a punch card and they’ll stamp this card and once you get a full you turn the cards in at Stewarts Grocery Store. Then there will be drawings which will end up on December 14 at our Castle Dale Christmas Party. Free food, free fun, games, raffles, all kinds of excitement and that starts at 6:00 pm at the Rec Center,” stated Mayor VanWagoner. Individuals can visit businesses on Main Street between now and December 13 to get their card stamped. Be sure to get it turned into Stewarts Grocery Store on 621 East Main Street in Castle Dale on or before December 13. Any questions about the event can be directed to City Hall at (435) 749-9025.
It’s getting time to do some ice fishing as the Millsite Ice Fishing Tournament is coming up in January. “Save the date January 7 and 8 will be the Millsite On Ice, Ice Fishing tournament. This is always a great time. There’s great prizes, great comradery and sometimes there’s even a fish,” said Mayor VanWagoner.
