The Pinnacle Lady Panthers earned their second win of the season Monday on the road against the Merit Prep Academy Knights. With the 26–12 win, they have now won half as many games as they won last year.

These two squads faced each other twice last season, with Pinnacle dropping both. In December, they took it to overtime with Merit getting the 29-23 win, then again in February, the Knights took the 51-28 win.

This time around Merit could only muster 12 points in the contest with Pinnacle shutting them down.

Pinnacle will be back on their home floor on Friday night to face Piute.

After the game with Piute, the Panthers will travel on the road to face Intermountain Christian on Monday, Dec. 13.

They will be back home again for the Pinnacle Winter Classic starting Thursday Dec. 16 and continuing till Saturday. Games will take place all three days at the gym on the Pinnacle campus with boys and girls teams from across the state taking part in the event.

The home game against Piute will begin at 5:30 with the boys game to follow at 7:00.
