West Coast Show Support is excited to be hosting a Classical Christmas Musical Concert on Saturday, December 18 at 7:00 pm inside the Rio Theatre at 210 South Main Street in Helper. Program Coordinator, Kenny Driggs stopped by Castle Country Radio to discuss all the details.

“We wanted to bring some really good musicians to town and start showcasing excellent live music more frequently. I have a friend who lives about an hour from here, he has what you would call off-the-radar production studio. He works with A-list talent from all around the world. He and a buddy work together to compose is what’s called Christmas A La Vivaldi. They’re going to be bringing about 18 professional musicians from all over the country here to help produce the world premiere of Christmas A La Vivaldi,” explained Driggs. There will be many talented musicians in attendance to make this concert extra special. This event is sure to get everyone who attends into the Christmas spirit.

“What Christmas A La Vivaldi is classic Vivaldi tunes merged with some of our more modern Christmas melodies. You’ll be surprised how wonderful they fit together and to get to hear it from beginning to end with a lot of effort behind the sound production. We’re bringing in a couple of really good audio engineers who know how to accurately present acoustic instruments and voices. We’re putting all of the lighting and elegant Christmas magic that we can behind this, to make this more than just a concert but a really special experience,” stated Driggs. Guests that will be performing at the event are Chamber Orchestra, Violin Soloist Rosalie MacMillian, Brian Stucki, along with Hans, Shela and Natalie Baantjer.

Advance tickets are currently available for $12.00 by logging into https://www.eventbrite.com/ and tickets will also be made available at the door the day of the concert for a slight increase in price.
