The Dinos swim team welcomed the Uintah Utes to the pool in Price on Tuesday. Coming off of the Canyon View Invite, the Carbon girls team was more than ready to get back home and it showed with a 94-57 win. The boys unfortunately dropped their meet 114-55.

Carbon has kept a pretty busy schedule so far this season and it continues as they will head to the Judge Memorial Invitational this weekend in Salt Lake.

Relays continue to pay big dividends for the girls, who claimed victory in three different relays.

In the 200 yard medley the team of Alyssa Chamberlain, Tyrca Jaramillo, Mia Crompton and Thalyn Lyman turned in a time of 2:11.42. Chamberlain would also take first in the 200 free and the 100 breaststroke, team mate Ellie Hanson finished right behind her in second at 1:32.16

Jaramillo turned in a time of 1:05.31 in the 100 free to take first. Lindsie Fausett finished third at 1:07.71.

Crompton competed in the 50 free taking the top position with a time of 29.81, Ember Lyman and Ada Bradford finished in second and third. Crompton also showed her ability to swim longer distances taking second in the 500 free while team member Evie Halk took first with a time of 7:25.76.

Two other relays and two more first place finishes in the 200 free from the team of Jaramill, Hadley Brower, Chamberlain and Lyman.  And  in the 400 free relay Lyman, Bradford, Bower and Jaramillo earned a first place finish with a time of 4:36.46.

Gabe Ibanez continued to be a bright spot for the boys team taking first place in the 100 fly with a time of 58.02.

Dallin Watson was part of the second place 200 medley and the 200 free relays. he also claimed second in the 100 breaststroke and fourth in the 50 free.

Camden Chamberlain was also a part of the 200 medley relay and the second place 400 free relay teams. He also went on to take third in the 50 free and fifth in the 100 breaststroke.

After the Judge Memorial Invite this weekend they won’t get back in the pool until Dec. 21 when they welcome Emery to Price.
