The Price Chapel is excited for their annual Christmas Eve Candlelight Services and this year will feature earlier times for services. The first service will be held at 4:00 pm and the second service will be held at 6:00 pm both at the church’s location of 611 West Price River Drive.

“We’ve been doing a series during Christmas at Price Chapel called Overcoming Anxiety and we’ve been looking at the anxiety and fear, and worry and stress in the Christmas story of Jesus coming and how the people in the story dealt with that. We’re going to continue to talk about that on Christmas Eve of how does the good news of Jesus and his birth help us and overcoming some of that anxiety, fear, and worry that we deal with in our world,” stated Pastor Steve Swinburne.

Each service is approximately 60 minutes long and no matter what denomination or church all community members are welcomed to attend the Christmas Eve services. “So we’ll sing traditional Christmas carols, we’ll have a great band and some music I think you’ll really enjoy. I’ll be sharing a short Christmas message. We’ll have a special little story for the kids and gift for all the kids as well. Then we’ll have some scripture readings and videos, and then we end with our traditional candle lighting, which is always a really moving moment of silence and contemplation and worship together,” said Pastor Swinburne. This a great way to gather with one another to feel the Christmas spirit.

If you are unable to attend Christmas Eve services individuals are welcome to attend regular worship services on Sunday mornings at 9:30 am and 11:00 am. You can learn more about Price Chapel by visiting their website at http://pricechapel.org/ or call them at 637-5244.
