James Michael Shannon Ezell, age 44, passed away December 11, 2021 in Price.
He was born July 30, 1977 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Terry Ezell and Kathy Hartt.
James came into Jodie’s life at the age of three. He was the cutest little man with towhead blond hair, big brown eyes and eyelashes so long you could sweep the floor with them. He and his dad were so close. When Terry would walk into the room James would run as fast as his legs would carry him and he would dive towards his dad. Terry would catch him and do a tuck and roll across the floor. Good thing Terry caught him coming because sometimes he wasn’t ready. As James got older, he loved his books and had hundreds of them. He was a lot like his dad, they both remembered everything they read. You should have heard their discussions on J. R. R. Tolkien.
When James was out of school and old enough Terry got him a Boilermakers apprenticeship. He turned out having the ability to be a great welder just like his dad. He could do anything he put his mind to. I remember the first time James told us he was having a baby; first came Deidra, then Shayley. He then married Chelly Christopherson and next came Isaac and Alex. James always smiled when he talked about his children. James loved being out in the wilderness, whether it be the mountains or the desert he knew how to survive. He enjoyed skateboarding, 4-wheeling, fishing and hiking. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
