
The Lady Dinos played their final game of 2021 on Tuesday night on the road in Mount Pleasant against the North Sanpete Hawks. Carbon also closed the book on what seemed to be a never ending road trip, playing their last 11 away from Price. The Dinos jumped out in the first quarter never looking back and running away with a 59-36 win.
Carbon took a quick 13-9 lead at the end of the first and by halftime had pushed the lead to 23-17. But they saved their best for the third quarter.
In the third they doubled their point total scoring 23 points in that quarter alone while allowing eight. They added another 13 to put it away in the fourth earning their eighth win of the season.
Amiah Timothy led the Dinos with 12 while grabbing four rebounds and three assists to go with two steals. Timothy has been averaging 6.7 points this season.
Sydney Orth put up 11 grabbing six rebounds to go with her two assists and four steals, and Stevie Oman scored eight, pulling down six rebounds and collecting two steals.
The next game for the Dinos will take place on their home floor on January 4 against Union. This will be the Lady Dinos first home game since Nov. 16.
