Our beloved husband, son, brother and uncle, Michael Lee Payne, age 35, passed away January 29, 2022 peacefully at home, surrounded by his family

Mike was born December 17, 1986 in West Valley City, Utah to the late Lorena Kae Payne Olsen and raised by Fred Olsen.  Mike graduated from Carbon High School in 2005.  During his senior year, he met his high school sweetheart, Kellie.  After five years of dating, Mike and Kellie were married on October 24, 2009.  In 2012 , Mike and Kellie were reunited with his little sisters, Shelbie and Aubrie. Together, they shared love, laughter, great memories and an unbreakable bond.

Mike enjoyed many things, but he truly made life an adventure while camping, hunting and fishing with his family and friends, but never without his beloved dog, Jager.  In his pastime, Mike loved working on cars and trucks and watching the races with his dad, Fred.  He was full of useless knowledge and random facts.  He loved entertaining family and friends by telling stories.  He was a hard worker and enjoyed working at Peczuh Printing for the last 15 years where he made lifelong friendships.

Mike is survived by his wife, Kellie Payne, his dad, Fred Olsen, siblings, Misty Payne, Damian Olsen (Sara), Shelbie Payne and Aubrie Payne, his aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, nieces and nephews.  He especially shared a deep bond with his niece, Kensley.

The family would like to thank Dr. Gagon, Castleview nurses and staff of ICU and Med-Surg, Carbon County Ambulance, and his home-nurse, Jade with Rocky Mountain Home Care and Hospice.

Funeral service, Wednesday, February 2, 2022, 10:00 a.m., Mitchell Funeral Home.  Family will receive friends at Mitchell Funeral Home Tuesday evening from 5:00-7:00 p.m. and Wednesday one hour prior to service.  Burial will be in the Cliffview Cemetery, Price.  Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home where friends are always welcome daily and mays share memories of Mike online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net
