Our beautiful and loving mother, Nana, sister, aunt, and friend, Brenda Lynn Rutherford Lofley, age 60, sadly passed away on February 1, 2022 at the University of Utah.

Our Nana was feisty and spunky until the very end. She lived for her children and lived even harder for her grandchildren. She loved jamming out to Bon Jovi and Cher. There was never a dull moment when she was around. She loved the smell of morning rain and the taste of a cold Pepsi. Her laughter was contagious and her smile was always bright. She prided herself on her grandchildren, constantly bragging about them. She, her daughter, Kim, and her granddaughter, Kenna, would always be around laughing and causing trouble. She loved her family more than anything, even more than Jennifer Aniston.

Nana was our best friend through thick and thin. She will be so deeply missed.

She is survived by her children, Jennifer (Antonio) Vigil, Christina (Frankie) Ward, Kimberly (Robert) Draves; siblings, Donald (Doris) Rutherford, Randy Rutherford; nine grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Iola and Donald Rutherford; and aunts, uncles, and many others.

Graveside service, Monday, February 7, 2022, 12:00 noon, Wellington City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10-11:30 a.m. at Mitchell Funeral Home prior to the graveside on Monday.
