Thomas Charles Tucker, age 78, passed away peacefully at home on February 4, 2022.
He was born in Elmo, Utah to Max Ernest and Norma Jane Timothy Tucker on February 25, 1943. He was raised on the family farm in Elmo.
Tommy graduated from North Emery High School in 1961. After graduation, Tommy went to work for Telegraph Communications in Pueblo, Colorado. Soon after that he enlisted in the Army and was stationed in Italy. After his return home he attended the College of Eastern Utah and received his associate degree in machine shop in 1970. He then received his degree in welding in 1972.
Tommy worked as a laborer on the Electric Lake Dam. He also worked at the Huntington and Hunter power plants until he retired in 2010. There he met his good friends Dustin Chidester and Lupe Guerrero, about whom he could tell you countless stories. Tommy was a volunteer firefighter for Elmo/Cleveland for many years. Tommy enjoyed playing poker and going hunting with family and friends.
He loved to debate with anyone, and he always had a witty comeback for everything. One of his favorite pastimes was telling stories about growing up, especially if it was about his mom and dad.
