Friends of Cassady Jaramillo are hosting a Family Bingo Night on Friday, February 25 at 6:00 pm at the Notre Dame Catholic Church Hope Center. This event is a fundraising event to help Cassady with Stage 3 Breast Cancer treatments.

“In August of last year, she was diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer. So she has been undergoing chemotherapy, she recently finished that up and had a surgery performed and now she’s going to start radiation. She’s just one of those people that she cares about everybody and its time for us to care about her. We really want to step up as a community, and as friends and co-workers and all the good stuff and be there for her,” said Event Representative, Alyssa Potter. The event is a way for her friends to help her financially during this difficult time.

This event is a family friendly event so all ages are invited to attend. “So we came up with an idea of just a really relaxed, fun, Bingo night. So we’re going to play Bingo as many rounds as we can, as long as people are there, we’ll keep playing. Then we will be doing a bake sale, we have tons of community members that have stepped up and offered to help us with some yummy baked goods, so come out with an empty stomach,” stated Potter. There will be an opportunity to enjoy some delicious barbeque as Gettin Our Smoke On will be in attendance at the event too. They will donate their sales towards the cause.

This evening will feature a dinner, Bingo, opportunity drawings and bake sale. “We live in a community that they really step up to the plate when somebody needs it. So I am really excited to put on this event, and see everybody come out and show their support. We’ve already seen so much support for just the event itself from people willing to do the bake sale and donating prizes,” said Potter.
