angie-petty

West Coast Show Support is excited to be hosting a concert with Angie Petty on Saturday, February 12 at 7:00 pm inside the Rio Theatre at 210 South Main Street in Helper. Program Coordinator, Kenny Driggs stopped by Castle Country Radio to discuss all the details.

“Angie has been a part of the Utah music scene for a while. She does production, she does song writing, she’s an amazing musician. The big excitement right now is her album came out last year and it’s been really well received. The album is called Timing and it’s on Spotify, its on AppleMusic, you can hear it on SoundCloud. Great album, real thick soul, and R&B sound with some amazing vocal work, and she’s got such a huge voice, it’s awesome,” stated Driggs. This event is being sponsored by The Helper Arts Alliance, The Helper Project, The Driggs Mortgage Team, Marilou Kundmueller and David Dornan.

The venue has had many upgrades and the sound will be remarkable. “Well, we started about a year ago now and we started with the full acoustic treatment to prepare the room to kill all that echo and extra sound. We put a new sound system in, new lighting system, and we’ve been working out really nice set designs, production designs for each show to try and present something really new and unique here in Helper,” explained Driggs. The venue is a small, intimate location which is perfect for an evening concert.

Advance tickets are currently available for $12.00 by logging into https://www.eventbrite.com/ and tickets will also be made available at the door the day of concert with a slight increase in price.
