Pamela Jo (Fausett) McGuire was born to Robert (Bob) and Pauline Fausett on December 8, 1949 in Price, Utah. Pam’s new journey began on the day of love, February 14, 2022, in Price, Utah.

Pam had many loves in life, the biggest being her four girls, her family, her chosen family, and her love for the desert. Pam packed up and moved her girls to Lake Powell in 1988. The red dirt and rock hounding was exactly what she needed. Her free spirit finally found a place that she fit in, and felt like home.

Pam was a dedicated and hard worker. She loved meeting and chatting with new customers at OffShore Marina where she spent many years working. She would often exchange contacts with customers, exchanging Christmas cards and at times take them out on her desert to show them the beauty that her Lake Powell home held. Pam had many friends throughout her life and she held them very dear to her heart. If you met Pam, she would become a friend for life.

Pam was a single mom most of her life, always working hard to provide for her girls. She raised them to be strong, and to work hard. She taught them to give everyone a chance and to always do your best. The most important lesson she taught everyone in her life is that, “even when you don’t have much, give all you can.” A motto in which she lived by. Pam left this world the way she lived her life. She always made the best of her situation and had a smile on her face. She loved her new friends that she had made at the Good Life and adopted all of them as her own. She loved teasing them and giving them a little “goose” to scare them every chance she had.

To all of Pam’s lifelong friends, dementia sneaks in and robs us of our memories and ways of communication. She thought of you all often and leaves a piece of her heart with us all.

Pam is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Pauline Fausett; her daughter, Amy Burk Francis; nephew, Cory Nielson; and brothers-in-law, Ron Piccolo and Gordon Nielson.

She is survived by her sisters, Brenda (Terry) Torgerson, Salina UT; Paula Nielson, Elmo UT; Mary Piccolo, Wellington, UT; daughters, Angie (Mason) Winters, Price, UT; Crystal (Kevin) Varner, Grand Junction, CO; Bobbi (Kevin) McHolan, Columbia, KY; grandchildren, Todd Hicken, Kahli Critchlow, Kyle Hicken, Madeline Johannsen, Kiana McHolan, Zoe McHolan, Macie Winters, Odin Varner and Gunnar Varner; and four great-grandchildren, Avery and Nash Quinones, Bobby Hicken and Marilyn Hicken.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the Good Life Senior Living, Symbii Home Health & Hospice, and Mitchell Funeral Home.
