Diana Rena DeCarteret was born to Paul and Lillian Aburie Rivet on June 6, 1941 in Waterbury, Connecticut, and in her later years moved to California where she spent most of her life. She peacefully passed away in Price, Utah on February 7, 2022. She was 80.

Diana met her first love, Edward Thomas Durk, and they married on August 3, 1963. They had six children; Diana was widowed on November 15, 1980. Years down the road she married her last love, Stephen DeCarteret on February 14, 1992.

She had 14 beautiful grandchildren and raised four of them as her own: Joseph Fox, Timothy Fox, Ronald Fox and JoAnna Fox. Diana also had 16 great-grandchildren with one on the way, and six great-grandchildren in heaven.

Diana spent her last few years in Price with two of her kids and four of her grandkids, Crystal Mitchel, Monica Burglund, Timothy Fox and JoAnna Fox, and with eight of her grandchildren.

Anyone who knew her knew how much she loved Alan Jackson. Diana would spend all her time listening and singing along with his music if she could. She had a heart of gold and always loved hard and whenever you were around her it was never a dull moment. Diana was very loved by everyone around and she will forever be missed.

She is survived by five of her children, Lisa Cobb, Paul Durk, Brenda Brown, Ronda Ramirez, Butch Durk; 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Diana is preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Lillian; brother, Ronald Lawrence Rivet; sisters, Paula Cammarata, Joyce Rousseau; daughter, Amberlynn Durk.
