Our handsome young man, Gene, the singing and dancing machine left this earth to go dance in the sky on February 20, 2022, while surrounded by his family.

Raynel Eugene Cordova was born April 19, 1985 in Price, Utah to Raynel “Ned” Cordova and Carolyn Marie Ide.

Gene touched the hearts of everyone he ever met! He will be forever remembered for his love of his idols Selena, Michael Jackson and let’s not forget Chucky.  From a very early age, he loved going to work at the Castle Valley Center-his motto was “No work, no pay.”  He loved being able to help others and made friends everywhere he went.  Eugene was the light in many lives, one that can never be replaced and our lives will forever be changed.

He is survived by his mom, Carolyn Cordova, Helper; two sisters and one brother, Tiffany “TT” Cordova, Helper, Richard “BRO” Cordova, Helper, Debra and Marley Snyder, Orem; best friends, Rebecca Mendoza and Jennifer Smith; “Grandma Rennie” of Helper; nieces and nephews, Chancelynn, Jordan, Thomas, Ella and Damon; aunts and uncles, Craig, Diane, Joe and Cathy’ and many other cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Raynel Cordova; and grandparents, Richard and Clorinda Cordova.

Funeral service, Thursday, February 24, 2022, 10:00 a.m., Mitchell Funeral Home where the family will receive friends one hour prior to service.  Interment, Cliffview Cemetery, Price.  Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home where friends are always welcome daily and may share memories online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net
