Timothy Patrick Madden, 66, passed away February 20, 2022 at his home surrounded by family.  Tim was born June 3, 1955 in Phoenix, Arizona to James and Darlene Sue Eutsler Madden. He married Mary Diane Roberts on October 27, 1972 in Santaquin, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan Temple on June 21, 1975.

Tim proudly served in the U.S. Army and was also active in the National Guard and Army Reserves. Tim was a man of service, and during his time in Carbon County, he was a member of the Carbon County  Sheriff’s Posse. He also served in numerous callings as a member of The Church of Jesus of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He made many friends while living in the area and was liked and respected by many people. Tim was a man of countless talents and loved hunting, fishing, and camping with his family. He also enjoyed riding, breaking horses and wood working.

Throughout his career, he was a miner at Plateau-Cyprus, Braztah, Willow Creek, Dug Out, and Deserado Mines. He received many honors and awards during his many years as a coal miner. He was a very hard worker and would often take overtime assignments to provide his family with the things they wanted and needed. He will be greatly missed by his wife, sons, grandchildren and friends.

Tim is survived by his wife Diane of Rangley, CO; sons, Travis (Mindi) Madden, Nick Madden, both of Price, and Matt Madden of Rangely, CO; mother, Darlene Eutsler, Vernal, UT; siblings, Kellie Ilene, Mary Houle, Jamie Hellyer, and Mikel Madden; half-siblings, Reba Lewis, Jason Lewis, Carrie Ann Rodeback, and Porter Lewis.

Graveside service, Friday, February 25, 2022, 2:00 p.m., at the Cliffview Cemetery in Price, Utah. Family will receive friend at Mitchell Funeral Home (233 East Main St.) Thursday evening from 5:00-7:00 p.m. and Friday one hour prior to the graveside. Services are entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price and Huntington where friends are welcome daily and may sign the online guestbook at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net.
