More playoff basketball is on tap today and the stations of Castle Country Radio will be bringing the action to you. On KRPX 95.3 The Peak, the Carbon and Emery girls will face off with each other in the consolation round at the 3A State Championships in the Dee Events Center in Ogden. USU Eastern men and women will also continue on in the semi-finals of the SWAC Conference tournament on KOAL 107.3 FM or 750 AM.

Carbon and Emery will start our broadcasts at 11:10 in the consolation round of the 3A state tournament. Last night Carbon fell to the No.1 ranked Judge Memorial Bulldogs 57-33. The Spartans landed in the game against the Dinos after a loss to the Morgan Trojans 45-42.

The game with the Lady Dinos and the Lady Spartans will take place at 11:10 and will play on KRPX 95.3 The Peak, the loser of this contest will end their tournament run while the winner will play in the fifth and sixth place game at 9:30 Saturday morning.

The USU Eastern ladies will face the College of Southern Idaho at 12:00 on KOAL 107.3 FM or 750 AM. The Lady Eagles earned their spot in the semi-finals by defeating the College of Southern Nevada 77-53.  USU Eastern is the only team in conference to hang a loss on Southern Idaho this season.

The USU Eastern men will face the No.1 team in the nation, host Salt Lake Community College. This game will take place on KOAL 107.3 FM or 750 AM, immediately after the ladies game.
