After hosting the Carbon Invitational on Monday the tennis team hopped on the bus and traveled to Manti on Wednesday.  It was a rough outing for the Dinos as they were only able to find a win in one match losing to Manti 4-1.

Derrick Jorgensen earned the lone victory over Manti’s Nathan Bigelow in straight sets 6-1 and 7-5.  Jorgensen collected his third win of the season in 1st Singles.

In the 2nd Doubles match, Garrett Bryner and Zac Gregersen lost to Colby Christensen and John Cook in two sets, although the first set was a battle, the duo from Manti took the 7-6 win after going 8-6 in the tie break. They then went on to take the second set 6-4.

The Dinos hold an 0-3 record and won’t hit the courts again until Mar. 31 when they travel to Juan Diego, after that it will be straight to St. George for two days of matches at the St. George Invitational on April 1 and 2.

Carbon won’t be home again until April 14 when they welcome Gunnison.
