Price City Youth Council, Mayor Grady Noyes and Madeline Criddle, stopped in to KOAL Studios to talk about their upcoming Second Annual Easter Egg Hunt. The Easter Egg Hunt will take place on Saturday, April 16 at Washington Park starting at 11:00 am. This event is for kids up to 15 years old.

Criddle spoke about how the easter egg hunt will run with different age groups, saying “the age group of under 5 will be starting at 11:00 am and they will go out and hunt for eggs. And then at 11:30 am it will be 6–10-year-old and then at noon it be 11–15-year-old. They’ll be looking for eggs and the candy in it but also, we have some special prizes that have been donated to us. Nine specific big special prizes that if they find a gold coin in your egg the kid will get to pick out a prize.” Each age group will have the chance to find one of three gold coins for these special prizes.

Parents will be able to watch their kids hunt for the eggs, however, not help them hunt for the eggs. “We will have a lot of council members and kids that are on Price City Youth Council that are helping the kids to find any eggs;” says Criddle.

Criddle says that they will be hiding eggs throughout the entire park so there will be plenty of easter eggs to find. “We have over 2000 eggs;” stated Criddle. “This will be great fun for the entire family.”
