
CASTLE DALE– Miriam (Billie) Maxfield 79 passed away on March 31st 2022 at Utah Valley Hospital due to a fall at home and complications from a staph infection.
Miriam was born on August 27th in Salt Lake City Utah to Willard Billeter and Gwen Thomas Billeter, She was raised in Salt Lake City and graduated from Granite High School. She was employed for many years and retired from a Medical Billing Company in Greeley Colorado.
On July 21st 1961 she married to love of her life and was married to Dell (Snooks) Maxfield for 56 years 3 months and 2 days.
Billie was very active in the Castle Dale Community Billie belonged to the Mill site Ladies Golf Asscoation,The Classic Ladies Club and was the Secretary for the Utah Daughters of Pioneers for 10 years. Billie had many close friends that she loved to go to lunch with. She also served on the library board. Billie loved to read and watch NASCAR.
Miriam is survived by her sister, Judy Smith, Fort Collins Colorado; nephew, Randy (Jeanne) Maxfield, & Randy’s son Jason Maxfield and many other nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her husband, Dell (Snooks) Maxfield; her parents, Willard and Gwen Billeter, Rex and Ken Maxfield; nephew, Josh Maxfield.
Miriam (Billie) requested that she be cremated, there will be a small graveside service at Castle Dale Cemetery, where her ashes will be put in an urn with her husband and put in the headstone they have at the cemetery.
