Eastern Utah Community Credit Union is hosting an Easter Piggy Hunt on April 14 at 5:00 pm at their Price Branch located at 675 East 100 North. Castle Country Radio was able to sit down with EUCCU Representative, Paige Anderson to talk about the event.

“So we’ve got fun for the whole family, the main draw is obviously our Piggy Hunt. So on top of looking for eggs, you’ll also be looking for our little piggies to trade for different candy, different prizes, and things like that. We have a wide selection of prizes, some of the fun ones we’ve got a cool light-up scooter, we’ve got a fun bubble machine, a record player even, and then of course as always, we have fun photo opportunities with the Easter Piggy,” explained Anderson. This event is open to the entire community and children will be divided up between age groups.

All proceeds from the event will go towards the Angel Tree Project that EUCCU assists with every Christmas holiday. “So United Way is the one that kind of holds the Angel Tree but we’ve been participating with them for a long time. We’ve raised money throughout the year and then we sponsor angels so our members can come down and adopt angels and buy gifts for families in need, who may not be able to afford their own Christmas. As well as, we will supplement funds for anyone who doesn’t get adopted,” stated Anderson. EUCCU hosts various events like bake sales, Pumpkin Festival, and concession stands to help earn money throughout the year to assist them with the Angel Tree.
