Anthony “Bubba” Robert Hurtado, age 68, passed away on April 15, 2022 at the University of Utah Hospital with his wife by his side.
He was born May 22, 1953 in Dragerton, Utah to Alexandrina Hurtado. He met and fell in love with his soulmate, Yvette Van Otten, and they married on August 8, 1992; their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti Temple on August 28, 1993 where they were sealed for all time and eternity. He loved his wife and fur babies and the joy they brought to him.
Anthony was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where he held many callings. He had a big heart and was willing to help anyone that needed help. Anthony enjoyed working on cars, going camping, Yellowstone vacations, Wendover trips, Melon Days, playing games and wolves. Anthony loved helping his wife decorate for the holidays, especially Christmas. He maintained a positive attitude and had great faith through all of his trials. He left an impression on everyone he met and he will be greatly missed. He was the best husband a person could ask for. “I love you Anthony and can’t wait to see you again.”
Yvette would like to personally thank the staff at Castleview Dialysis Center for taking such good care of Anthony for the past 15 years.
