Brenda Michelle Bogdin Smith Pace passed away in her sleep on April 25, 2022.  She was born on April 29, 1968, in Price, Utah, to DeLoy and LaNae (Fossat) Bogdin.  Brenda grew up in Huntington, Utah.

Brenda and her sister, Stephanie, spent their younger years learning how to dance at LaRae’s Dance Studio, where the family spent hours watching their dance performances every year. She attended Huntington Elementary, Canyon View Jr. High, and Emery High School, graduating with the class of 1986.  She was a member of the Emery High Spardettes Drill Team.

After graduation, she attended the College of Eastern Utah in Price, Utah, where she was a member of the Blue Debs Drill Team.  Brenda earned her associate’s degree while at CEU. She later attended Southern Utah University in Cedar City, Utah.  While there, she met and married Tyler Smith and they were blessed with four children.  They later divorced.  During this time in Cedar City, she was hired as a mail carrier at the United States Post Office.  She later transferred to the US Post Office in Price, Utah, as a postal carrier and worked there for 24 years.  Brenda had a kind heart, which allowed her to make many friendships along her postal routes.  It was also at this time that she met and married Glen Pace.

Brenda loved to make many trips to Wendover and Mesquite on gambling excursions.  Lady Luck seemed to follow her around from one slot machine to the next.  The hobby she loved most was crafting. She was very talented in making wood decorations with unique sayings that showed her witty side, as well as a variety of beautiful wreaths.

Brenda is survived by her loving husband, Glenn Pace, Price; children, Colt Smith, Tooele, McKaylee (Zach) Seal, Wellington, and Janissa Smith, Price; siblings, Stephanie (Shon) Roper, Ferron, Shane (Becky) Bogdin, Provo; parents, DeLoy G. and LaNae (Fossat) Bogdin, Castle Dale; grandson, Wesley Seal; and numerous uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, and cousins.
