The Helper Saturday Vibes gatherings are kicking off on May 14 running through till September 24. This community get-together has a slew of activities, food, and music for the whole family to enjoy. Castle Country Radio was able to sit down with Event Organizer, Allie Farnham to discuss all the details.
“So we’re May through September the second and fourth Saturday, so that’s twice a month. So First Friday will happen in Helper on the first Friday of the month, and then Vibes will be second Saturday, a little break on the third weekend, Arts Festival there’s some other activities that often are happening on that third weekend and then we’ll be back on the fourth weekend of the month, May through September,” said Farnham. This festive outdoor market is where family and friends can shop local artists, enjoy live music, enjoy a full bar, learn about local nonprofits, sample a variety of food trucks and enjoy kids activities.
There is a huge calendar full of musical performers scheduled to take the stage this year at Helper Saturday Vibes. “One favorite that everyone in Carbon County loves is Shuffle, they’re coming back again this year. A band that I would like to highlight is The Lane Changers, they are a 10-piece band with brass. They will be playing at our Pride Themed event on June 11. Also Pixie & The Party Grass Boys, they are a blue grass folks and they will be closing it down at the end of the season and so many more incredible bands,” stated Farnham. The groups are bringing all sorts of different genres for folks in the Castle Country area to enjoy on these summer evenings in Helper.
There will be vendor booths available at each of the events. “So really is family friendly and the vendors this year as well. We have such an incredible, diverse line-up of vendors. We have over 50 vendors who are in the application process right now, which is just out of this world,” said Farnham. There is sure to items that will appeal to everyone of all ages.
This year features a new website for Helper Saturday Vibes. “We worked so hard this winter to cultivate a ton of incredible content for a very functional, constantly being updated website. It is www.helpervibes.com you can find the dates, the bands, YouTube links and videos for all of the bands that are playing. You can apply to be a vendor, you can apply for a job, you can get a map, location, everything is on that website,” stated Farnham.
