Its time for another Helper Saturday Vibes gathering on Saturday, May 28 and this time there is a theme its called Everything Animal. Castle Country Radio was able to sit down with Market Manager, Allie Farnham and Vendor Manager, Rachel Barbee to discuss all the fun details of the event.

“We are having one themed event a month and our theme this month is Everything Animal and it is exactly what you would think – Everything Animal. Fuzzy costumes, leopard print, ears, tails, dogs, cats, goats, rabbits, chickens, everything animal its all going to be there,” stated Farnham. There will be opportunities for guests to pet and view a few animals during the event. Also, in attendance during the gathering will be the Castle Valley Animal Rescue and Carbon Cat Rescue who will have some pets available for adoption or fostering.

There is a great lineup of entertainers scheduled to perform during the evening. “Music, we have BD Howes coming from Park City, they are just classic jam band, enjoyable, playing the favorites. Then crowd favorite, closing it down, Shuffle. Everyone loves Shuffle, we had to bring them back this year, it’s a serious crowd favorite,” said Farnham. BD Howes will take the stage at 5:00 pm, followed by Shuffle at 8:00 pm. Guests are urged to bring their lawn chairs/blankets to sit on while watching the musical entertainment.

There is no need to worry about cooking dinner on this evening because there will be several food trucks on site. “Well if you loved the food we had last event you’re going to love the food that we have this week. So five full food trucks, barbeque again, you know tacos just like we had before, so some nice fried foods that we all love, so its going to be a great time,” said Barbee. There will also be a beer garden open for adults to enjoy a delicious alcoholic beverage.

The theme for the evening is Everything Animal so event organizers have put together an exciting activity for people and their pets. “Please bring your friendly animals down. If you animal is maybe shy of crowds or loud music, it might be best to leave them home. But we are going to have a pet parade at 7:15 pm starting in front of Matsuda Acupuncture, we’ll swing around the river trail, and then loop back up Main Street and ending at the park,” stated Farnham. All well behaved, leashed pets are welcome. Please be sure to pick up after your pet.
