It’s time to head back outside for the Culture Connection Summer Concert Series on Thursday, June 9 at 7:00 pm. Olson Entertainment was able to stop by Castle Country Radio to share all the details about the event.

There will be two bands featured on this evening and the first group hails from Carbon County. “Variant X is a great group of guys. Brian Sherman, that’s our contact with them, they’ve been playing music for a long time. They got together performing timeless classics, they’re putting together a really good set for upcoming show on Thursday. They’re going to be rocking the house, it will be a lot of good fun,” stated Kayden Olson. The group will take the stage from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm and is sure to play some classic rock favorites for folks to get up and dance to.

The next band taking the stage at 8:30 pm is a band from Salt Lake City called Folium. “They are band out of Salt Lake, they do like rock, alternative rock and things like that. They do they’re own music, they’re a pretty young band but have gotten a lot of traffic on Apple Music and Spotify, lots of streams and things like that, as well as on their socials. We’re excited to bring them, it’s their first time in Carbon County,” said Laura Olson. The young group is very talented and is looking forward to entertaining all the folks in Carbon County.

Families can make a night of it buy enjoying the many food trucks that will be on hand during the evening’s festivities. “Local favorite Getting’ Our Smoke On, plus a local ice cream truck, Street Treats is going to be there. This year we’re hoping to add some extra amenities for people to come enjoy the whole night with their entire family. We want you to come down, enjoy dinner, enjoy Main Street. We’re really going to be connecting with Main Street folks those who are selling retail, those who are selling services on Main Street to be open later, longer on Thursday nights,” said Kayden Olson.

The outdoor summer concerts are a great way to unwind from the hustle and bustle of a busy work week. Spectators are reminded to bring their lawn chairs and blankets as they find a spot to sit and enjoy the band. Remember to invite family members, friends and neighbors out for an entertaining evening at the Price City Peace Gardens on Main Street.
