One of the questions asked, was how do you fill about your business/work accomplishments? Kent Wilson replied, “I believe for Emery County future, the public lands bill is probably the most important thing we’ve accomplished thus far. It created certainty for us and that’s what Emery County wanted.”

Jordan Leonard was asked the same question, his response, “The expansion of Millsite Golf Course. When I was there, we were able to work with land agencies and CIB and different funding groups to help us develop that project. We were able to get nine holes while I was managing the golf course and it was a task.”

The second session featured the Republican candidates for an Emery County Commission Seat B, incumbent Gil Conover, Doug Stilson and Kevin Jensen. The men were given several questions some regarding how to promote businesses and how to represent the people of Emery County.
