
Our loving mother, daughter, sister and dear friend, Tory Marie Curtis Himonas, age 43, passed away unexpectedly June 13, 2022 at her home.
She was born November 20, 1978 in Price, Utah to Bradley R. Curtis and Janet Priano. Tory married Landy Alger, Kyle Fox, Stavros Himonas; later divorced. From these marriages she was blessed with four amazing children: November, Colton, Emmanuel and Costa.
Tory was a lifelong resident of Carbon County and a graduate of Carbon High School Class of 1997. In her youth, she enjoyed dancing, gymnastics, and she was a proud member of Carbon Drill. Tory was extremely artistic, and she loved her crafts and reading. Tory had a quirky sense of humor and zest for life. She was an excellent organizer, and she had a unique way of keeping everyone on task.
Tory had a great love for the outdoors, especially going to Lake Powell and Huntington Lake.
She is survived by her children, November Alger, presently serving in the Air Force in Germany, Colton Fox, Emmanuel Himonas, and Costa Himonas, all of Helper; father, Bradley Curtis, Helper; mother, Janet Priano, Price; sister, Nicole Curtis, Salt Lake; brother, Michael Curtis, Heber; sister, Jessica Curtis, Price; grandmother, Helen Priano, Price; and a community of friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Russell (Nola) Curtis and Elmo Priano.
A celebration of life will be Saturday, June 18, 2022, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Eric and Elaine Allred’s home (281 Vernal Street) in Helper. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home where friends are always welcome daily and may share memories online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net.
