The Price City International Days golf tournament will return to the Carbon Country Club on Saturday, July 30. This fun morning on the course draws golfers of all abilities from the serious to casual.

The tournament has become one of the best traditions for local competition and is already full. If you are interested in playing however, there is a waiting list at the pro-shop. Price City Community Development Director Nick Tatton explains.

“So this has been going on for 10 years now, great big tournament and it’s full.  We do have a bit of a waiting list,  seems like there is always a team or two that it ends up that something comes up and they can’t make it so some of the waiting list gets in. So if anybody is interested in playing, let’s at least get you on the list, there is a fair chance that you might get in.”

There are always plenty of great side games and this year is no different.

Each tee box will have free items, provided by sponsors, for each team. There will also be a putting contest giving each participant a chance to win a big screen tv, as well as a $100,000.00 hole-in-one contest. Trophies will be awarded to the top teams as well as cash prizes and lunch.

One of the other great things about the tournament is that all profits made will go back into the community in the form of donations from Price City.

“If anybody walks away not having a lot of fun, then they showed up a little to grouchy that’s for sure”, Tatton said.

If you would like to get on the waiting list you can call the pro-shop at 637-2388.
