Helper Saturday Vibes is ready for another month of fun activities taking place on Saturday, July 9 at 5:00 pm on Helper’s Historic Main Street. Castle Country Radio sat down with Allie Farnham and Taylor Poulson to discuss all the details.
“This is our half-way point, so we’re at 5 of 10, as of this weekend, and we’re really just hitting our stride. We’ve loved the crowds, everyone is coming out, everyone has been dancing, and it just feels so appropriate that we’re having a Movin’ & Groovin themed event. Come out dance, move your body, and celebrate all of the amazing activities that Carbon County has to offer,” stated Farnham. This weekend’s event has a theme of Movin’ & Groovin’ which officials hope that all guests will get out on the dance floor during the live performances.
The first performance will be by a group called Memphis McCool and after the first group leaves the stage there will be an opportunity to do some stretches to get your body moving. “It will be an all levels, kind of stretching, dancing, just get your body moving on the grass there, in the sunshine, and everyone is welcome kids, everything, just kind of get your body moving,” said Poulson. Memphis McCool will be on stage from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
The Mothers of Mayhem have been here before and are looking forward to performing again in Carbon County. “These gals are coming from Emery County; they are all mothers. They totally rock the house, they play original music, and covers. They dress the part, big heels, big hair, the skirts, everything, red lipstick, they are so talented and amazing to watch,” stated Farnham. They will take the stage at 8:00 pm and play till 10:00 pm.
There will be food trucks available during the evening and folks can enjoy a tasty treat. “We’ve got four food trucks, we have El Sarten, Dee’s Tacos, Tallies & Smallies and Ruebens BBQ,” stated Farnham. There will even be activities for the children to enjoy like the many bounce houses that will be made available to enjoy.
