Vickie Lou Swenson Olsen, age 69, passed away peacefully on August 4th, 2022, surrounded by family.

She was born to Don and Pearl Elizabeth Parry Swenson on April 20, 1953 at the Carbon Hospital in Price, Utah. She spent her early years living in Kenilworth with her family. She married Rick Olsen and was blessed with three children; they later divorced.

Vickie graduated from Carbon High School in 1971, and, during that time, she found her life-long love for the outdoors, and went fishing and camping with her family often.

She was employed to Castleview Hospital from 1992 to 2005.

Vickie was talented with her arts and crafts, and she loved to crochet, as well as color in her many coloring books.

She is survived by daughters and son, Bobbi Olsen, Amy (Bob) Ganser, Wade Olsen; 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; as well as cousins, nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Vickie is preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Dixie Blackham.

Memorial service, Friday, August 12, 2022, 10:00 a.m., Mitchell Funeral Home (233 East Main Street, Price, Utah). The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. and on Friday beginning at 9:00 a.m. prior to the service, both at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Scofield Town Cemetery, Scofield, Utah.
