
The Pinnacle Lady Panthers have been getting down to business since August 13 and have now compiled a 1-2 record after Thursday’s win over Dugway. Pinnacle wasted no time against the Mustangs as they finished them off in straight sets taking the 3-0 win.
On Aug. 13 , the Panthers dropped their opening match to Escalante in three sets 25-9, 25-17 and 25-10, then on Tuesday, Tintic came to town winning in three sets as well 25-17, 25-18 and 26-24.
Thursday night the Dugway Mustangs were in Price and the Panthers were ready. Pinnacle jumped out taking the first set 25-15. Madison Sasser and Darolani Motte each powered to three service aces in the match. In set number two, it was more Pinnacle 25-19. and The Lady Panthers would slam the door shut on the Lady Mustangs 25-15 getting the straight set win.
The Panthers now sit at 1-2 moving into next week when they only have on game on Tuesday when they travel to Merit Preparatory Academy in Springville.
They won’t be back on their home court again until September 6, when they will face the same team from Merit Prep. Game time is set for 6:15
