Our beloved son, brother, dad, uncle, cousin and friend, Christopher Micheal Hernandez, AKA, “Fish,” 37, passed away August 20, 2022 from injuries sustained in an auto accident.

He was born June 19, 1985 on the Navajo Reservation in Shiprock, New Mexico to Matthew Todd and Irene Goodman Hernandez.

Chris was always a hard-working, cheerful, talkative, strong and protective individual who was loved by all.  He loved assisting others, especially while working alongside his dad with everything.  Chris was a member of the Native American Church.  Chris was blessed with many relatives and friends. He will be sorely missed, and we will remember him in our own special ways.

He is survived by his parents, Todd and Irene Hernandez; brothers, Cameron (CJ) and Little Bird Hernandez; children, Braxton, Lazarus and a daughter.

Chris was preceded in death by his sister, Miranda Goodman Herrera.

Funeral service, Saturday, August 27, 2022, 2:00 p.m., Mitchell Funeral Home (233 East Main Street) in Price, Utah where the family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Burial will take place in the McCracken Mesa located in San Juan County, Utah.
