Lady Dino volleyball has turned it on lately. After starting out the season 4-3 they have not lost a match since Aug. 26. On Tuesday they traveled to Cedar City to take on Canyon View coming home with a 3-1 win, and taking over the No. 2 spot in the RPI.

The Lady Dinos dominated in the first set 25-16. In the next set Canyon View would come back and take the 25-21 win. Carbon put the second set behind them coming back taking the final two sets 25-18 and 25-21, taking the big region win 3-1.

Madi Orth led the attack collecting 20 kills and 14 digs. Dani Jensen had 12 kills and 13 digs. Jenna Richards helped the cause with 10 service aces to go along with eight digs. Sav Hurst added 12 digs and 32 assists.

The Dinos will head back to the court on Thursday when they face the No. 12 Manti Templars on the road in a non-region tilt.

After the meeting with the Templars, the Dinos will be back home on Tuesday when the Grand County Red Devils come to Price. From that point on the Lady Dinos will have five games left on the slate. A pair with Emery, a pair with Richfield and one more with Canyon View.

Region 12 is extremely competitive with four teams in the top 15 of the RPI.

The game with Grand is set for Tuesday the 20 at 6:30.
