Amy Kathleen Houser, age 47, passed away September 15, 2022 in Salt Lake City.

She was born in Moab on August 7, 1975 to Michael James Houser and Jeanne Shatley.

As a child, she and her family moved around often, but she graduated from high school and pharmacy tech school in Salt Lake City. As the only child born to her parents, Amy found other special family members in the form of animals. She especially loved dogs. Amy loved Asian writing, shooting guns and was an avid rock hunter. She struggled with addiction, which changed her life and the direction it was going. She will be deeply missed by her family and a community of friends.

She is survived by her uncles, Terry Houser, Price, Utah, Nick (Karen) Houser, Cedar City, Utah; cousins, Rhionna (Mike) Sanderson, Price, Utah, Adam Houser, Salt Lake City, Utah; nephews, Kayden and Karson Sanderson.

Preceded in death by her parents and grandparents; aunt, Coella Houser; niece, KateLynn Sanderson.
