God blessed the world with the spirit of Debra Lynn Shaw Dube on August 25, 1955. She was born in Provo, Utah to Joseph Michael and Merle Hutchings Shaw.
She had many challenges, both physical and emotional that she endured on a daily basis. Despite these struggles, she bore them with a happy heart and a smile to go with it. Sadly, she passed away at her home in Price, Utah on October 9, 2022.
Debbie had a deep love for her family and friends. She spoke about them always, and when she did, her big brown beautiful eyes would sparkle with love. Debbie had a love for all animals, especially Tomas (her tom-cat), which was a feral kitten that she had a special bond with, letting him know not all humans are bad.
Her passion was cooking and baking and always loved when her grandchildren would help her in the kitchen. Debbie loved unique recipes and had so many she could have her own cookbook. Thanksgiving was her favorite holiday, on which she could cook and prepare dinner for everyone and spend time with the ones she loved.
She truly was the best big sister a little sister could ever ask for.
Debbie is survived by her sons, Michael (Jaime) Shaffer, Reno, NV, Brian (Jessica) Shaffer, Las Vegas, NV; grandchildren, Joshua, Shawn and Matthew Davenport, Joseph, Elliana and Annalise Shaffer; great-grandchildren, Andrew, James, Jessie, Ivy and Willow Davenport; sister, Judy Hogg; and many more family and friends she loved dearly.
Preceded in death by her parents Michael and Merle Shaw; husband, Robert Dube; daughter, Cris Davenport; sisters, Barbara Skog, Kelly Argyle.
Family services will take place at a later date.
