The Active Re-Entry organization is hosting their Second Annual See’s Candies Fundraising Event now through December 2. Director, Terri Yelonek took time to come into Castle Country Radio to discuss all the details.

“This is our second year and we had such great success with it last year and it’s a good product so we’re going to try it again this year. But it’s a fundraiser through See’s Candies, which who doesn’t like See’s Candies, right? For gifts for your neighbors, for those hard to buy for individuals in your life. So buy See’s Candies but buy it through our storefront and then we benefit as well,” stated Yelonek. This helps raise funds to provide services to people with disabilities in Eastern Utah.

Its quite easy to access the fundraising storefront as there will be many flyers hung around town. “We’re putting them up all over the community. You can also find it on our website which is https://www.arecil.org/ and right on the front of our website is a Buy See’s Candies you just click on that, takes you right to our storefront. If you see our flyers, there is a QR code, scan that QR code and it takes you right to our storefront,” explained Yelonek. You will be able to shop for chocolates, peanut brittle, toffee and lollypops. If you are still not sure what item to buy, there is an option to purchase gift cards.

Active RE-Entry just listed the storefront so the fundraising event is just newly starting. “It just barely started, we’ve opened the storefront and it’s available and the last opportunity you’ll have to purchase for the holiday by December 2. So we have a long time but it’s a good start to get going early because Christmas is coming and I know we hate to think about that but its is coming,” said Yelonek. The items will begin shipping to your residence as early as November 10.
