Four Corners Community Behavioral Health is gearing up for their 50th Anniversary Celebration on Friday, Nov. 4 at 6:30 pm at the Carbon County Events Center. They would love for the entire community to come out and help them celebrate this great accomplishment.

“It’s going to be super fun. We tried to think of something a little bit different and outside of the box rather than just your kind of golden 50th anniversary. We thought a 50s theme would be really fun to do and something a little different. So our committee came up with an idea of doing a drive-in movie, and you know with everything from concessions to dressing up in 50s costumes, and then showing the movie Grease, which we we’re really excited to be able to do,” said CEO, Melissa Huntington. This event is open to all members in the community as this is Four Corners Community Behavioral Health’s way of giving back to the community while celebrating a remarkable milestone.

“So Four Corners Behavioral Health is your community behavioral health, a substance use disorder and mental health treatment. We provide a full spectrum of treatments for any of your needs and intensity levels. So we are the local authority in the three counties, our attachment areas for Four Corners covers Carbon, Emery and Grand Counties. We’re basically contracted with the counties to provide these services for our community members,” said Huntington. The Carbon facility is located at 575 East 100 South, Emery facility is located at 45 South 100 South in Castle Dale and Grand County facility is located at 76 Nob Hill Street in Moab.

Not only will there be a 50th anniversary celebration held in Carbon County but there will be one held in Grand County of Friday, Oct. 28 at the Swanny City Park at 6:30 pm. There will be a celebration held in Emery County at the Aquatic Center on Friday, Nov. 11 at 6:30 pm. There will be prizes awarded to first, second and third place for the best 50s costumes and snack packs will be shared at each event for participants to enjoy.
