The Castle Valley Community Theatre is excited to present The Best Christmas Pageant Ever on Nov. 10-12, Nov. 14, Nov. 17-19 at 7:00 pm at Mont Harmon Middle School Auditorium. Castle Country Radio was able to sit down with Production Representative, Madelaine Neffler to discuss all the details.

“This show is about a church pageant. The lady who normally directs this church pageant breaks her leg and can’t do it so they scramble around trying to find someone to do it. They final find some lady that says ok and then she goes to church on Sunday and discovers that nobody wants to do this pageant. They are visited by six hooligans named Herdsman, who have discovered that if they come to Sunday School they will get refreshments,” said Neffler. Its obvious that the siblings are up to no good as usual but Christmas magic is all around and the Herdsman, who have never heard the Christmas story before, start to reimagine it in their own way.

This is a Christmas classic that is sure to be appealing to all ages and get them into the Christmas spirit. There are 35 kids in the production and they have been rehearsing for months. “Its as Mont Harmon in that theatre space there. The doors will open at 6:45 pm because we will have a mini concert that goes on from about 7:00 pm to 7:15 pm or 7:20 pm. We have some guest artists, we have a pianist who is extraordinary who going to play several nights, and Wes Thompson from Carbon High is going to come and play his guitar and sing,” said Neffler. The mini concerts will set the tone for the evening as many will be Christmas favorites for all to enjoy.

Tickets are $7.00 per person which is an affordable price for a great evening to see talented children perform a holiday classic production. You can learn more about The Castle Valley Community Theatre by visiting their Facebook page.
