Judy K. Hardy Ivie, age 76, passed away December 17, 2022 at Castleview Hospital while surrounded by her family.

She was born January 27, 1946 in Provo, Utah to Payne D. and Margaret Farnworth Hardy.

Married Terry Brown on May 11, 1963 in Elko, Nevada; they later divorced. Married Merrill Veron Ivie and they later divorced.

Judy was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and enjoyed her temple work in the Manti Temple.  She was a very hard working and independent lady.  Judy enjoyed maintaining her home and her yard. She was very crafty and loved to crochet. Judy liked going camping and shooting guns with her family. She could fix anything that was broken. Judy had a special love for her daily companion, Bo and her four birds.

Survived by her daughters, Carol Brown, Price, Gayla (Vinson) Strandell, Michigan, Sue (Chris) Dunlap, Ann (Fred) Duran, both of Price; sister, Bonnie Jo Hardy, Hurricane, Utah; 11 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren and one more on the way; many loving nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her son, Merrill “Feller” Ivie; parents; sisters, DeAnn Smith, Peggy Thatcher; brother, Laury Hardy; granddaughter, Shandi Strandell; great-grandson, Jack Olson; son-in-law, Ernie Martinez.

Funeral service, Friday, December 23, 2022, 10:00 a.m., Mitchell Funeral Home (233 East Main Street) in Price where the family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5:00-7:00 p.m. and Friday one hour prior to service.  Interment, Cliffview Cemetery.  Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home where friends are always welcome daily and may share memories online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net.
