The Carbon High School boy’s wrestling team competed one last time ahead of the Christmas moratorium, welcoming in the Union Cougars Tuesday night.
Despite earning six wins at the varsity level, the Dinos came up short in team points, falling to Union 47-33. The match marked the second home meet of the young season.
Senior Colin Fausett continued to dominate the opposition as he scored a win by pinfall at 144 pounds. Rawzyn Allred, Brax Tapia and Victor Huitt also delivered pins, while Kaden Winterton grabbed a decision victory.
With Tuesday’s meet now in the books, the wrestling season has hit the moratorium, halting all practices and competitions until December 26. Next on the schedule is a trip to Ogden for the Bravehart Duals Tournament on Dec. 29 and 30 in Ogden.
