Norman Sheldon McKendrick, age 85, passed away peacefully in his home in Price, Utah on Christmas morning.

He was born April 12, 1937 in Price, Utah to Charles Sherman and Delpha Davis McKendrick. He married the love of his life, Donna Lynn Brundage, on July 15, 1955 in Price, Utah. She preceded him in death on April 21, 2003.

As a young man, he worked as a beet farmer in many fields across Utah and Colorado. After graduating, he owned the Price Bakery and Arrow Auto Lines, which he later sold and went to the railroad for a short time. Norman then went into the pipefitter trade and became a member of the union where he retired.

Norman was an outdoor adventurist; he loved horses, animals and 4-wheeling. He was a member of the Chuckwagon Riders and Castle Country Off-Highway Vehicles Association. His greatest love in life was his family, camping, and spending quality time with those he loved. He always lent a helping hand to anyone in need. He was a perfectionist in his yard and proud of what he had accomplished.

Norman will be missed by the ones he loved in the community and the friends he cherished.

Norman is survived by his children, Sheldon Dennis (Maretta) McKendrick, Price, Utah, Terri Lynn (Terry Anderson) McKendrick, Price, Utah, Monty Ray (Joy) McKendrick, Price, Utah; sister, RaeDell (Dave) Waller, New Castle, Wyoming; 12 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren; and many loving nieces, nephews and friends.

Preceded in death by his wife, Donna; parents; many sisters and brothers; and nieces and nephews.

Funeral service, Thursday, December 29, 2022, 2:00 p.m., Mitchell Funeral Home where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment, Cliffview Cemetery, Price, Utah.
