Less than 24 hours after walking off the floor at Vivint Arena with a victory, the Emery Spartans were back on a bus headed toward Blanding to face the San Juan Broncos. It is always an entertaining contest when these two teams face-off, but in this game Emery walked away with the wire to wire win, 76-46.

The Spartans had a 1 p.m. tip-off on Tuesday in Salt Lake against Enterprise at the home of the Utah Jazz, Vivint Arena, taking the hard fought win 69-65. After the game they climbed back on the bus to come home and then had to turn around and head back out on the road to make the three and a half hour ride to Blanding  on Wednesday.

Emery jumped out to an early lead in the first quarter putting up 19 points and holding San Juan to just eight, in the second, Emery was right back at it again as they expanded their lead at halftime to 36-20.

The Spartans were ready to get back to it in the second half, coming out in the third, getting their stops and answering on the other end of the floor with 17 and they must have held back just enough to put the Broncos away as they came out in the fourth with their largest offensive output of 23 points closing the door on San Juan with the 30 point win.

Talon Tuttle led all scorers with 24 points. Luke Justice added 12 and Easton Nielson had nine in the win.

The Spartans will get a much deserved night off and then get to head out on the road Friday for a game at American Leadership.
