There was an adjustment made to the final scoring for the Region 12 swimming championships held in Richfield on January 26, and while the top spots on both the boys and the girls sides didn’t change, there were shake ups in the rest of the places that had implications for the Carbon boys and both Emery squads.
On the boys side Canyon View was still in first place, but the new points totals have jumped Carbon from fourth place to a second place finish. Richfield went from second to third which, in turn dropped Emery from third place to fourth. Grand stayed in fifth.
On the girls side of the pool, Carbon remained in first place but with the new score calculations, Emery moved from third to second place with Canyon View sliding to third. Richfield and Grand both stayed in fourth and fifth.
