Thursday night, the Lady Dinos jump back into the 3A State Basketball Championships in Cedar City at Southern Utah University against the Delta Rabbits.

The Lady Dinos ended the regular season with a 15-5 record that included a 5-1 Region 12 mark. The overall record was enough to land them at the No. 4 spot in the season-ending RPI. Madi Orth has led the Lady Dinos this season in both points per game (12.8) and rebounds per game (7.3), and blocks per game (1.2). Kennedy Williams led the Dinos in steals per game  (3.1) and steals (1.2).

The Lady Dinos earned their spot in the quarterfinals with a win over Summit Academy last Saturday 62-48.

The Delta Rabbit made their way to the quarterfinal meeting with Carbon after an upset win over Juab 50-41.

The Rabbits ended the regular season with an overall mark of 10-10 which included a Region 14 record of 5-3, which earned them the No. 12 spot in the RPI. Delta has been led this season by Kate Smith, who has averaged 19.0 points per game.
